Madonna's tough regime for her children

Madonna enforces a strict regime in her household - ensuring her kids don't watch television or eat sweets.

The singer has three children - 11-year-old Lourdes, with ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon, Rocco, seven, with husband Guy Ritchie and their adopted son David Banda, two.

And the star insists discipline is a necessary part of her kids' upbringing.

She says: "I'm a tough mother. Children need limits, otherwise they go off the rails. I don't think that it harms children if their parents are always questioning the society in which we live."
