Eastwood's 'Changeling' up for Palme D'Or
Clint Eastwood's latest movie 'Changeling' is to compete for the prestigious Palme D'Or award at the Cannes International Film Festival.
The Hollywood star directs Angelina Jolie, Amy Ryan and John Malkovich in the 1920s thriller.
Other films in the running for the prize, the festival's most coveted award, include Wim Wenders' The Palermo Shooting' and Steven Soderbergh's four-hour biopic of Cuban revolutionary 'Che Guevara - The Argentine'.
The fourth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise, 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull', will be premiered at the event, but will not be competing for the award, as will Woody Allen's latest picture Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
The Palme D'Or judging panel will be headed up by Sean Penn, Natalie Portman and former Harry Potter director Alfonso Cuaron.
The film festival will take place in the French resort from May 14 to 25.
