Singer Ashlee Simpson added to the confusion surrounding reports she is pregnant, by refusing to confirm or deny the claims during a live appearance on US TV on Friday.

After Simpson and rocker beau Pete Wentz announced their engagement earlier this month, sources immediately alleged the Boyfriend singer is expecting the couple's first child.
