Sharp wit continues with 'Taxi' collection

One of the best comedy series of the ’70s is finally getting a DVD release.

'Taxi Series 1' (Paramount; €36.99) had a fabulous set of characters, from the devilishly sharp-witted despatcher Louie (Danny DeVito), to the bizarre Latka (the irrepressible Andy Kaufman), likeable Alex (Judd Hirsch) and wannabe boxer Tony (Tony Danza).
