Bjork enthrals London fans

Singer Bjork wowed concert crowds when she performed in bare feet wearing a characteristically wacky outfit at London's Hammersmith Apollo last night.

The Icelandic beauty wore a metallic red dress with a giant wig made up of multi-coloured fluffy pom poms, designed by Royal College of Art graduate Soren Bach.

It is not the first time the pop princess has performed in outrageous clothing.

She often dons weird and wonderful dresses including a white number in the shape of a swan which she famously wore to the Oscars in 2001. The dress was eventually auctioned on eBay for the charity Oxfam.

The outspoken singer hit the headlines earlier this month when she shouted: "Tibet! Tibet!" following a performance of her song, 'Declare Independence', at a concert in Shanghai.

China's Culture Ministry said Bjork's outburst "broke Chinese law and hurt Chinese people's feelings".
