BAFTA award to honour Minghella
Late director Anthony Minghella is to be honoured with a special BAFTA Award created in his name, according to British filmmaker Richard Attenborough.
Just three weeks after his untimely death, Minghella's peers at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts are said to be planning a tribute to 'The English Patient' filmmaker, who died from complications following surgery for cancer of the tonsils and neck at London's Charing Cross Hospital in March.
