'Enchanted' is sure to win over the kids
Mixing animation with real people, Enchanted (BVHE, €24.99) is a decent enough attempt to recapture the essence of Disney’s golden age.
Thanks to a sparkling Amy Adams in the lead role of Giselle, who finds herself banished to New York, there’s more than a touch of Cinderella here, with Patrick Dempsey (Gray’s Anatomy) cast in the role of knight in shining armour. Some good songs help flesh out an occasionally weak script, but this one is sure to win over kids more than parents.
