Makers of '21' didn’t do their sums

A film that promises so much and delivers so little. A decent basic plot but one that isn’t really developed … somebody didn’t do their sums right.

The story involves wannabe maths genius (Sturgess) whose only hope of getting into Harvard is to land a scholarship. Prof Spacey has a cunning plan to herd a group of maths students against a casino and clean it out.

Problem is everything from then on is so predictable and Sturgess and Spacey don’t look as if they have truly signed on to appear in the film.
