Singer Braxton sent to hospital
Singer Toni Braxton has been sent to hospital in the US, it is claimed.
A hotel official says the Grammy-winning entertainer was in a Las Vegas hospital with an illness that was not life-threatening.
She is best known for the best-selling single 'Un-Break My Heart'.
Flamingo Hotel-Casino spokeswoman Deanna Pettit says Braxton was taken to a hospital last night but was expected to be released today.
She says she does not know the nature of Braxton’s ailment or where she was when she became ill.
Braxton is in the middle of a two-year run at the casino that began in 2006.
Pettit says Braxton she expects tonight’s show to be cancelled. The act is called 'Toni Braxton: Revealed'.
