Usher to release album a month early

R&B star Usher has been forced to bring forward the release of his new album 'Here I stand' due to popular demand.

The Grammy winner's latest LP was due to hit stores in June, but, after scoring a US number one with his Young Jeezy collaboration 'Love In This Club' last month, bosses at his record label Zomba have now decided to drop the disc on May 27.

According to a press release from the Jive subsidiary label, the move was initiated to "satiate" Usher's fans.

'Here I Stand' is the 'Burn' hitmaker's first release since 2004 smash 'Confessions'.
