Carrey and McGregor to star in gay love story
Comedian Jim Carrey is set to find love with Scottish actor Ewan McGregor in a new film about a prison romance.
The pair has signed up to take the lead roles in 'I Love You Phillip Morris', which is based on the true story of a Texan convict who fell in love with his cellmate.
And McGregor is looking forward to getting back to work when the film starts shooting in the spring, after taking time off to travel across Africa.
He tells British film magazine 'Empire': "It's been about a year since I made a film because of the trip through Africa with my friend Charlie (Boorman) and theatre work.
"But it feels like I'm getting back to work properly now. In April I go to America to work with Jim Carrey on a true story about two guys who met in prison and fell in love.
"Jim's character is a con artist and escape artist, who escapes from prison to be with me. It's an incredible story."
