Virus causes Sevigny collapse

Actress Chloe Sevigny was forced to pull out as host for a New York magazine party on Wednesday, after collapsing on her way to the event.

The 'American Psycho' star was taken to visit a doctor the following day, when she discovered she was suffering from a nasty virus.

Explaining Sevigny's absence from the Nylon magazine birthday party in the city's Meatpacking district, her representative says, "She felt lighthearted and sick, she went to the doctor on Thursday morning and found out it was a viral infection, probably due to something she ate."
