UK: Police take Naomi Campbell off flight
Supermodel Naomi Campbell was removed by police from a BA flight at Heathrow this afternoon.
Passengers reported that she was aggressive and abusive to staff. Campbell, 37, is known for her fiery temper but has recently been trying to change her image.
A Heathrow spokeswoman said: ``We can confirm that a passenger was removed by police from a BA flight this afternoon.''
Last year the model had to mop floors at New York’s Sanitation Department as a community service punishment for throwing a mobile phone at her maid.
Witnesses said Campbell was cuffed on board the aircraft, which had not taken off, at Terminal 5, on the flight.
Passengers alleged the supermodel was rude to staff and police.
It is thought there was an issue with Campbell’s luggage. The incident took place at around 4.30pm this afternoon.
