Terrific cast delivers thrills in 'Funny Games US'

Be careful who you let into your home, they might not be as pleasant as they first seem.

Thus, while taking a well-earned holiday at the lake, mum (Watts), dad (Roth) and their son are visited by a couple of teenagers come to borrow a cup of sugar … and from then on it’s horror, terror, mayhem and the screams.

And it’s a terrific film – actually a remake of a l997 film – in which the tension builds, the violence arrives and doesn’t go away and you’re with the hapless family all the way … and it’s all achieved by a terrific cast working to full capacity.
