Sick Dion cancels gig

Celine Dion has been forced to pull out of an Australian concert due to ill health.

The singer has postponed a Brisbane gig after contracting a minor throat infection and irritated sinuses.

"I've been looking forward to doing this show in Brisbane for so long," said Dion. "I'm really sorry to disappoint my fans tonight."

Tour promoter Michael Coppel says Dion will now perform in Brisbane on March 31 and in Melbourne on April 2.

The Sydney and Perth concert dates remain unchanged.
