George Michael set for US tour
Pop star George Michael has announced his first US tour in 17 years.
The summer tour kicks off in June and includes dates in Canada as well as US cities Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle and New York.
It follows the former Wham! starās hit European tour last year and will be his first in the US since 'Cover To Cover' in 1991.
Michael, 44, has enjoyed 10 number one singles in the US, including three with Wham!
His last in the US was 'Donāt Let The Sun Go Down On Me', a 1991 duet with Sir Elton John.
The 'Careless Whisper' singer recently announced a multimillion-pound deal to pen a āno holds barredā autobiography.
Last year he was sentenced to 100 hoursā community service for driving while unfit through drugs.
This week he makes his US acting debut in the ABC series Eli Stone.
The 25 Live Tour will open in San Diego in June and finish in Sunrise, Florida, in August.
Michaelās greatest hits album, 'Twenty-Five' ā already out in the UK ā is being released in the US to coincide with the tour.
