Shields ready for a son

Brooke Shields is desperate to become a mum-of-three - but is having a hard time persuading her husband they are ready for another baby.

The 'Lipstick Jungle' star already has two girls, Rowan Frances, four, and Grier Hammond, 23 months, with her second husband television writer Chris Henchy.

And despite her well-publicised battle with post-natal depression after the birth of her daughters, the star insists she wants to have another child.

She says: "I want a boy! I'm going to have to convince him and he's a hard sell at this point. Maybe he likes the even number!"
