Halle Berry names first baby

Halle Berry’s newborn daughter has been named Nahla Ariela Aubry, her publicist has announced.

Nahla was born on Sunday to Berry, 41, and her model partner Gabriel Aubry, 32. It is Berry’s first child.

The couple met while shooting a Versace commercial in Los Angeles two years ago. Berry has said she and Aubry do not plan to marry, but feel fully committed to each other.

Berry, star of 'Catwoman', 'Die Another Day' and the 'X-Men' movies, won an Emmy for the 1999 made-for-TV film 'Introducing Dorothy Dandridge' and a best-actress Academy Award for 2001’s 'Monster’s Ball'.
