Von Teese sues erotica company

Burlesque star Dita Von Teese is suing a British company for failing to pay her performance fees for two shows in London.

In a lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the star claims the bosses of Erotica Limited owe her money for two performances at the Erotica trade show in November.

Von Teese, real name Heather Sweet, alleges Erotica promised to pay her to perform two shows daily, but only paid her half.

She also alleges that the company is using her name and image to promote its 2008 event - without her permission.
