Starr sick of Beatles association

Rocker Ringo Starr is sick of the adulation he receives for being part of the The Beatles - because he wants to be known for his other musical achievements too.

The 'Photograph' singer, 67, hates that he is constantly referred to as a member of the Fab Four, and wishes people would put less emphasis on his time in the legendary band and focus on his whole career as a drummer, singer and songwriter.

He says: "Some days I'm just fed up with The Beatles. I think that when when I die, the message on my tombstone will be 'Ex-Beatle'. Like I've done nothing else."
