Thompson threatened to quit film

Emma Thompson threatened to quit her upcoming movie 'Brideshead Revisited' after learning the film's producers had ordered her co-star Hayley Atwell to lose weight.

The Oscar winner was so outraged when she found out Atwell was under instructions to lose a few pounds before shooting began on the movie, she demanded producers accept her size - or she'd resign.
