Federline praises father for Spears' progress
Kevin Federline is delighted his ex-wife Britney Spears is now well enough to visit their children - praising the star's father for her recovery.
The singer was allowed to visit her sons on Saturday for the first time in over a month after Federline insisted he wanted the boys to be reunited with their mother.
Spears had her visitation rights to two-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, one, stripped following a public breakdown at her Beverly Hills, California, home last month but reached an agreement with her ex-husband on Friday allowing her to see the boys - but only under the supervision of her father Jamie Spears and a psychiatrist.
And Federline's spokesman, Eliot Mintz, has credited Jamie Spears with getting his daughter the help she needed.
He says: "Jamie Spears went a long way in terms of stabilising an environment that surrounded Britney which was wildly in a flux. It's clear that Britney is in a different place now than she was two weeks ago."
Spears was hospitalised under a mental health order this month and her father was subsequently awarded conservatorship of her estate.
