‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age’ fails to live up to predecessors

Cate Blanchett reprises her role as the monarch in ‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age’ (Universal, €24.99), and again picks up an Oscar nomination.

However, it’s been 10 years since ‘Elizabeth’ first launched, and this follow-up suffers by comparison, despite the presence yet again of co-stars such as Geoffrey Rush.
