Statham to take on romantic role

Hollywood star Jason Statham said tonight he was poised to break his tough guy mould and do a romantic comedy.

The 35-year-old, speaking at the world premiere of 'The Bank Job' at Odeon in London’s Leicester Square, said: “We are just waiting for a decent enough script. I’m not just going to do a romantic comedy for the sake of it.”
