Lavigne blasts 'stalker' snappers

Avril Lavigne has launched a scathing attack on the paparazzi for making Britney Spears' life a misery, branding them "f***ing stalkers".

The singer has been the victim of the paparazzi's relentless pursuits, which have resulted in traffic violations and car accidents.

And Lavigne feels deep sympathy for Spears, who is plagued by the intrusive photographers on a much bigger and more damaging scale than her.

She tells Maxim magazine: "No one else has it as hard as Britney. I feel bad for her. How does she even think with all those flashbulbs? When I'm being followed, everything's thrown off. They run red lights. They cause accidents. She can't even walk to her car. F***ing stalkers."
