Townsend attacks Govt's stance on Hill of Tara
As we head into Oscar week, former winner Charlize Theron's mind wasn't on golden statuettes but supporting boyfriend Stuart Townsend at the Irish Premiere of his new movie at Dublin's Savoy Cinema.
While the Hollywood actress ruled out marriage as a priority when asked about Ireland as a possible venue for the ceremony, her other half used the opportunity to criticise the government's handlng of road building works in the vicinity of the ancient Hill Of Tara, former seat of Ireland's High Kings.
The Howth actor is trying his hand at directing in his debut movie 'Battle In Seattle' which makes it's debut in Ireland at the 2008 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
The flick examines the circumstances surrounding the World Trade Organisation talks and subsequent riots in 1999, and the actor also had a word for politicians here.
