REM to headline Saturday of Oxegen festival

US superstars REM are set to headline the Saturday of this year's Oxegen festival in Co Kildare.

The band are the second act to be announced for the event, which takes place over three days this year, from July 11-13.

Kings of Leon have already been confirmed as the Friday night headliners.

Tickets go on sale on March 7, with a presale taking place for registered fans the previous day.
