Leona to sing at pre-Grammy party

Chart-topping X Factor winner Leona Lewis is to sing at a run-up event to the Grammys, it was announced today.

She will perform as this year’s special new artist at music executive Clive Davis’s annual Pre-Grammy Party at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Davis has previously presented stars such as Alicia Keys and Maroon 5 in the slot for artists he regards as the next important new voice in music.

Lewis’s second single Bleeding Love reached the top of the charts and became the UK’s biggest-selling single in 2007. Her album, Spirit, also reached number one.
