Spice Girls' Australian fans hit back at cancellation announcement

The Spice Girls are facing a backlash from fans in Australia after reneging on plans to take their reunion tour Down Under.

The 'Wannabe' stars were due to play concerts in Cape Town, South Africa; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Beijing, China; and Sydney, Australia later this month - but due to the high demand for extra performances in London and the US, their tour schedule changed and subsequent dates were never officially set.
