Spice Girls 'sorry' about tour cancellation
The Spice Girls have issued a personal apology to fans across the globe for scrapping the last leg of their reunion tour.
The pop stars were due to play concerts in Cape Town, South Africa; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Beijing, China; and Sydney, Australia later this month - but due to the high demand for extra performances in London, their tour schedule changed and subsequent dates were never officially set.
And on Friday, the band - comprising of Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham - announced the final leg of their concerts had been cancelled due to "family and personal commitments".
In a message to their devotees, they said: "It's been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again.
"Really sorry if we didn't get to see you this time around. We have other commitments in our lives now. But who knows what will happen next?"
The world tour will now end in Toronto, Canada on February 26.
