Ross jeered by festival crowd

Diana Ross was booed by 40,000 music fans at a Jamaican music festival on Saturday when she vetoed plans to screen her performance on monitors to side of the stage.

The legendary soul star was greeted by jeering at the 2008 Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival after organisers told the audience that "to honour Miss Ross' wishes, she will not be shown on the monitors".
