Mann’s ‘The Kingdom’ a decent release

Michael Mann goes into Saudi Arabia all guns blazing in ‘The Kingdom’ (Universal, €24.99). Well, Mann is behind the camera, and it’s Jamie Foxx who does the shooting.

Foxx plays FBI agent Ronald Fleury who sends an unauthorised FBI team into the country following a terrorist atrocity which left his best pal dead.

Pretty soon Fleury finds himself immersed in the murky world of royal intrigue, before things get bloodily out of hand. Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman lend a helping hand.

A smattering of features and deleted scenes round up a decent release.
