‘3:10 To Yuma’ a credit to the genre

A western to restore my faith in the genre, 3:10 To Yuma (Lionsgate, €24.99) finds small time rancher Dan Evans (Christopher Bale) entrusted with the task of helping to get outlaw Ben Wade (Russel Crowe) onto a prison train.

A remake of the 1957 classic, James Mangold’s clever direction lifts this onto classic western territory, helped by an excellent cast, and some magnificent scene settings.
