Hilton vies for godmother role

Heiress Paris Hilton has picked up thousands of dollars worth of presents for her 'The Simple Life' co-star Nicole Richie's new daughter Harlow - in a bid to be named the baby's godmother.

The 26-year-old visited the gifting suites at the annual Sundance Film Festival in Utah, which began on Thursday - where she picked out a gift basket from Hollywood baby boutique Petit Tresor.
