Tom Hanks will never direct another movie, because it would meaning spending too much time away from his family.

The actor has turned his hand to directing on a variety of occasions - taking charge of 1996 movie 'That Thing You Do!', 2001 TV mini-series 'Band of Brothers', and more recently directing new film 'A Wilderness of Monkeys', which is due for release later this year.
