Love wants Gosling and Johansson for Cobain film

Singer Courtney Love is desperate for actor Ryan Gosling to take on the role of her late husband Kurt Cobain in an "explosive" new movie about his life.

The ex-Hole singer, who is executive producer on the $60m (€40 million) film, has also approached actress Scarlett Johansson to play herself in 'Heavier Than Heaven', based on Charles Cross' biography of the Nirvana frontman's life.
