Winehouse: 'Rehab can't fix me'

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is convinced no rehab centre can cure her drink and drug demons - she has to fix herself.

The 'Rehab' star spent some time in a British clinic before Christmas following a number of alcohol and drug-fuelled binges. But she insists it did her no good.

Winehouse, who has just returned from a vacation at Bryan Adams' Caribbean home, also believes her alcohol problem is more serious than her heroin use.

She says: "I'm of the school of thought where if you can't sort something out for yourself then no one can help you. I don't know whether that's because I'm a strong woman.

"Drinking longterm is a lot worse than heroin. Alcohol's a real poison."
