'The Bill' veteran self-harmed on set, say reports

'The Bill' actor Jeff Stewart has been released from hospital after reportedly cutting his wrists on the set of the show.

Stewart, 52, who has played PC Reg Hollis in the ITV1 show since it began, was taken to hospital after ambulance staff were called to the studios in Merton, south west London.
