Billie Piper TV drama available on DVD

'Secret Diary of a Call Girl: Season One' (Warner, €24.99) sees Billie Piper shed her inhibitions as prostitute Hannah, who tries to shield her double life from everyone, including her parents who believe she’s a legal secretary, which she is.

Piper isn’t helped by some pretty strange dialogue, but it’s a watchable enough series which first ran on ITV2, even if it’s sometimes in danger of sending itself up. Surprisingly, there are no extras. However, series two isn’t far off.
