McCartney angers Mills over daughter's late return

Paul McCartney infuriated his estranged wife Heather Mills over the festive season by returning their daughter Beatrice to her mother an hour late.

The couple, currently locked in a bitter divorce battle, both spent time with the four-year-old on yesterday - but McCartney failed to deliver the child back to Mill's home in East Sussex at a pre-arranged time.

A source tells British newspaper 'The Mirror': "They arranged for him to have Bea between 2pm and 5pm but he didn't arrive until 6pm - and didn't even ring to let her know she was running late.

"Heather wasn't happy. She made it patently clear she wasn't happy. She thought it was incredibly inconsiderate and rude."

Mills and McCartney are due to appear in court to continue negotiations over their divorce settlement in February.
