Latin star Ricky Martin will be honoured for his contribution to music and charitable work for children in Puerto Rico.

Latin star Ricky Martin will be honoured for his contribution to music and charitable work for children in Puerto Rico.

The singer - who created the non-profit Ricky Martin Foundation to advocate for children's rights - will be saluted at the San Sebastian Street Festival on January 17.

The 36-year-old is said to be thrilled to receive the honour.
