Bertie to attend daughter's film premiere

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern tonight swaps the rigours of the political circuit for the glamour of the red carpet.

He will be a special guest at the European film premiere of his daughter Cecelia Ahern’s novel 'PS I Love You' at the Savoy Cinema.

The Taoiseach will also be preparing for his return appearance at the Mahon Tribunal tomorrow.

Academy Award winner Hilary Swank will also be attending.
