Spice Girls deny lip-synching at comeback gig

The Spice Girls have denied reports they lip-synched their way through the opening night of their world tour in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, insisting it was all live.

The reformed five-piece wowed the sold-out crowd of 16,000 with hit after hit, but were accused by some critics of actually miming to a backing track.
