Murphy 'refuses' to meet child

Actor Eddie Murphy has refused to meet his daughter with British pop star Melanie Brown, according to reports.

The 'Dreamgirls' star previously denied he was the father of Angel Iris until DNA test results proved his paternity in June.

Brown's legal team is currently attempting to thrash out maintenance and visitation rights for the child at a Los Angeles court, but the case has been postponed for three months because Murphy has refused to submit an offer.

Murphy has reportedly told his legal team he has no interest in ever meeting his daughter.

A source told The Sun: "Mel was furious. She had been planning to take Angel to the courthouse to meet her dad for the first time."
