Spears steps up security

Troubled Britney Spears has been forced to step up security in a bid to protect her children from the media frenzy that surrounds her.

The 25-year-old star fears her battle for custody with ex-husband Kevin Federline will increase the media's interest - and put her children Sean Preston, two, and one-year-old Jayden James at risk.
