A sixth man was tonight charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice in relation to a court case involving Amy Winehouse’s husband, Scotland Yard said.

Michael Brown, 25, of Stoneleigh Terrace, Holloway, north London, will appear before Thames Magistrates this morning.

Five other men, including Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil, have appeared in court charged with the same offence.

Fielder-Civil, 25, of Jeffrey’s Place, Camden, north London, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court, east London on Saturday.

He was arrested last week after allegedly trying to bribe pub landlord James King.

He is also due to stand trial with co-accused Michael Brown, charged with assaulting Mr King, the landlord of Macbeths public house in Hoxton, east London, on June 20 last year.

The Crown claims Fielder-Civil conspired to pervert the course of justice by offering Mr King a significant amount of money to withdraw his allegation and leave the country.

He will appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court with the four other men next Friday.

Winehouse dedicated the song 'Wake Up Alone' to her husband at the first night of her UK tour last night.

The tour will continue with two gigs at Glasgow’s Barrowlands on Friday and Saturday.

Her 17-date tour is set to finish at London’s Brixton Academy on December 17.
