Planet Terror is well worth watching

Director Rodriguez makes a solid job of turning another horror plot into a decent horror film, against the odds.

He takes an ordinary enough storyline – group of survivors of a toxic gas must combine to fight off the rest of an infested town’s crazed citizens – and actually turns it into a film well worth watching.

The survivors are a motley crew which makes them interesting and there are several excellent set-piece slots to maintain interest.
