Seinfeld scraps reunion episode plans

Jerry Seinfeld has given up secret plans to pen a final Seinfeld episode - because he has left it too late.

The comic has revealed he was working on a reunion episode with castmates Michael Richards, Jason Alexander and Julia Louise Dreyfus but took too long to put the project together.

He says: "I don't think it can happen now. It would've had to happen because this (new DVD Seinfeld: The Complete Series) is the last DVD coming out, so now would've been the time to do it.

"(But) there were too many things happening at the same time."
