A funny thing happens – well, lots of funny things – when the family and friends gather for a funeral … mostly when everything starts to go wrong.

This black comedy just about manages to maintain our interest with some terrific lines and a rich cast of off-beat characters trying to cope with one disaster after another.

Oz keeps the wit coming with each character stepping up to play their part … not, you might think, the obvious vehicle for a laugh-in but it works well enough here.
