Moore’s approach is relentless in Sicko doc

Sicko

Director: Michael Moore

Cert: PG

With a ‘cast’ that includes President Bush and a host of Brit politicos and health care workers on both sides of the Atlantic, scatter-gun doc-maker Moore selects the care – or otherwise – of the sick as his current subject.

And we’re all in a bad way, especially in the USA where the last place you want to be if you’re not feeling at your best appears to be a hospital. Almost everything in this searing film indicates disaster.

Moore’s approach is relentless in giving the Stateside medical system a jab in the rear end, the trouble is the politicians across the pond don’t appear to care all that much.
